To my fellow deviants and followers,
Thank you for such a wonderful 2012. The many lovely comments and encouragements I have been given. My first critique was a great surprise. So many favourites added that I think I should start making folders devoted to the styles of art I have liked

I have found so many friends on DA this past year, increasing my watch list from about eight to twenty four, and also adding about thirty to my own watch list. there is just so much amazing artwork out there, and I wish I could have it all

Thank you for keeping my fingers busy commenting and talking to you all

I spent this year devoting a lot of my time to my crochet work, and cosplay. I'm looking forward to Anime Island Convention in Hobart in March 2013, and am so excited to introduce my first ever cosplay character by me ( I do plan for her to have a story, so far she's just the Lady in Red, and only parts of her costume are actually made by me, the rest has been bought), and a new cosplay I recently purchased and am still awaiting it's arrival in the mail (Fingers crossed by the 20th of January). Both costumes fit the theme "Vintage" and this AICon looks like it's going to go off with a BANG! I've been hearing stories from friends about the costumes they are making or have bought and it sounds like a great time warp back to the 1800's for us all

As for my crochet, this have been slow over Christmas, yes I'm sorry I've been quite slack

I've got a few commissions to catch up on but I'm always asking for ideas for my next crochet creation. Let me know if you think of anything please

I love a good challenge!
And finally onto the year that will be. No celebrations tonight as I have to work past midnight, but when I'm done, you can bet I'll be home enjoying a wine and probably some Halo 2. I got my offer for the local University and I'm accepting that tomorrow. Education career here I come! Starting in March 2013 too!

I set myself a new years resolution to only have fast food at most once a week, and work out at the gym once a week, a start writing two diaries (Personal and artistic).
Hope everyone has a flashy fun New Years, see you in 2013

(It's December 31st here in Australia)
